During our stay in Cappadocia we will have 7 days of workshop with 3-4 hours of sessions each day with the tuition of local pottery masters. The art of pottery making has been a tradition in Turkey for many centuries. Production is centered around Avanos (Venessa of Hittites) in the Cappadocia region. The town is located on the banks of the River Kizilirmak (ancient Halys). The distinctive red clay from the river is used in pottery-making.
Out of the workshops sessions we will explore the beauties of the region with its amazing rock formations.
